    Renovation worksheet and priority matrix

Your numbers, your assessment status, sorted into a defensible order of work. This page publishes no cost figures and makes no cost promises.

Enter estimates from your own written quotes. An estimate carried from a website — this one included — is not a quote, and older homes vary too much for generic figures to be reliable.

    Maintenance priority order

Ordered by the impact you assigned and how far along the assessment is. Unassessed high-impact systems rise to the top because the missing information, not the work, is the bottleneck.

    Common questions

Does this worksheet estimate what my renovation will cost?
No. It contains no cost data at all. Every dollar figure is one you enter yourself, from your own quotes or research. The worksheet only sorts and totals what you type.
How does the priority order work?
Items are ordered by the impact you assign combined with how far along the assessment is. Safety, insurability, and water-entry items that are unassessed or flagged to address soon rise to the top; comfort and cosmetic items that are already assessed and stable fall to the bottom. You control both inputs.
    Is my worksheet saved?
No. It runs in your browser and nothing is stored or transmitted. Use the print button to keep a copy before you leave the page.
