    How to verify

    • Ask for an energy evaluation by a licensed energy advisor for the current assembly and air-tightness
    • Look in the attic for layered insulation types indicating retrofits
    • Have suspected vermiculite tested before disturbance
    • Check whether mechanical ventilation exists and is operating
